Social Emotional Wellbeing Program (SEWB)
Our Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) officers understand that not everyone's journey is the same, and with the right kind of support everyone can live a life based on their own strengths, values and goals for the future. We aim to promote the wellbeing of all adults and young people from all cultural and social backgrounds.
Who can access our SEWB program?
Any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person
Any non-indigenous person
Any person from diverse cultural backgrounds
Our SEWB officers aim to support our clients with:
Provide Holistic, Culturally Appropriate case work
Provide high quality support to individuals and their families, including those with complex needs, through regular catch ups
After hours support
Work collaborative with JAMF and external organisations
Support clients at other service locations if required
Coordinate, source and/or deliver in healing activities for our clients to strengthen cultural identities, individual capacity and community connections
Provide education & training when required
